Sarah started her career working with animals at Wildwood Wildlife Park in Minocqua WI where she would sell bird seed, and educate guest about birds and caring for 700 parakeets. Sarah graduated from University of Wisconsin River Falls in 2018 with a Bachelors of Animal Science with companion animal emphasis. While earning her degree, she also worked at a Pet Supplies store assisting clients to find the best food for their animal companions. After UWRF, Sarah pursued an apprenticeship as a dog groomer in Stillwater, MN. She has worked at several salons. She has four years of grooming experience.  After 2020, she changed focus and started to pursue her dream of being a Vet Tech. She enrolled at Dakota County Technical College in the Vet Tech Program. She began working at an ER facility for a couple months to get her feet wet. Sarah started at Scenic Hills Animal Hospital as of Jan 2023. We love watching her  continue to grow with Scenic Hills and build new relationships with all of the wonderful pets and clients.  Her goal is to graduate in 2024 and become a CVT! 

Sarah's family includes Toby, (9 yo Jack Russell) Xena (17 yo black cat), Coriander (5 yo orange tabby), Izzy (4 yo ball python), Crackers (guinea pig), and some fishes.

One Fun Fact about Sarah:  She loves to go caving and explore underground.
