It is a privilege and a responsibility we take very seriously. We continue to look for ways to do our best for as many pets in our community as we can.
Recent evaluation of our scheduling process has revealed that same day cancellations, late arrivals and no-show appointments are having an impact on our ability to provide care for as many animals as we would like. In order to minimize the impact of this we will begin requiring a deposit for scheduling after any no show or late cancellation appointments.
In the event of a no-show, late cancellation or instance of an arrival more than 10 minutes after the scheduled appointment time the client will be required to put a deposit down on the next appointment. This will impact appointments scheduled after September 5th, 2021.
Veterinarian and Veterinary Technician appointments will require notice of 24 business hours to avoid this fee. Surgical appointments will require 48 hours’ notice. This allows us the time we need to offer these newly open spots to pets who may be waiting.
Deposit fee schedule for Scenic Hills:
Veterinary Technician Appointments: $20
Veterinarian Appointments: $50
Surgical and dental Appointments: $100
